Milestone Chapter 5

Workshop A: Which rights for investors?

Building on the information in the deep dive on Governance, this is where you have to start thinking about which rights you wish investors to have, which you do not, and which rights you would be open to give them if required by investors.

Going through the workshop template, try to think about why you would like investors to have certain rights and which interest they might have to have certain rights. Which investor rights would benefit the company in the long run? What can you give them as security if they don’t have any controlling voting rights? How can you ensure that you maintain autonomy and the best possible governance over your company at the same time?

For a reminder of the different levels of involvement that you could choose for investors refer back to this chapter.
