Some investors are severely limited in the types of investments they can make and companies they can invest in so far that they can’t invest in a steward-ownership-aligned way.

→ In these cases if investors and companies really want to pursue the collaboration, there are few things to look at. Can a financial instrument that is open to the investor be adapted in a steward-ownership-aligned way? Can a certain percentage of the investment capital be used for more alternative investments? If there is no flexibility whatsoever, this will be a roadblock that is very difficult to overcome – but might pave an opportunity for talking about the integration of steward-ownership-aligned financing in a future fund setup.
